The angel questions man
This was an experimental film I created during my 2nd year in film, where I wanted to experiment with splicing and more abstract sound design.
>>VOICE OF g__ was a film inspired by both my personal experience with existential dread, as well as my love audio and sound design. After watching Omer Fast’s CNN Concatenated, I was inspired to splice my own sentences from the media I thought could tell it best, which lead me to the recording I choose of Harlan Ellison I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream. But to visually depict the dread and paranoia I wanted to make the audience feel, I took inspiration from analog horror, a medium perfectly suited to create the feeling of my film and also primarily used shadows.
